The website of the day is Fiverr
Fiverr is a website where you can sell or buy any activity or task for five bucks. Do you need help with your math homework? Pay five dollars and get somebody to help you with that. A real example, I needed a logo for my one of my businesses, so instead of going to one of these expensive sites where you will be spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars for a logo, I paid five dollars to get a logo.
My first experience was not as expected. I chose a logo designer based on the amount of reviews who promised three (3) different logo designs in high resolution to choose from. Three days later, I received a notification announcing that my logo was ready. When I first saw it, I thought, well this was probably done using MS Word which included some text (using different fonts) and a Clipart. Is this what you should expect for $5?
We went back and forth and at the end of the day the guy decided that since I was asking “too much” for a $5 logo, he would reimburse the money. In reality I was just expecting to get something similar to his $5 logo examples and clearly this was not even close. At the end of the day, the designer cancelled the order on his own and reimbursed me the $5.
Eager to experience what so many people described as an awesome service, I decided to pick another designer which required a lot more informatiojn from me to create the logo. This guy even had a site with examples of $5, $10, and $25 logos if I wanted pay a premium. I decided to stay with the $5 logo and while I had to wait around 20 days (his profile indicates that the average waiting is about 29 days) the results were amazing. I got a high resolution logo which matched my website colors in several different file formats. The logo I got was well worth the $5 and the 20 days I had to wait.
So the next time you need any kind of activity done, check out Fiverr.com. You will be surprised at the kind of talent and services that people are willing to provide for only $5.
