CARES Administration Business Manager - Bristol-Myers Squibb, Hopewell, NJ    2007-2008
•    Developed metrics reports to analyze and distribute help desk tickets assigned to the CARES Administration group personnel.
•    Reviewed, approved and implemented configuration changes for a global adverse event reporting application.
•    Configured and tested E2B accounts for the electronic submission of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSR) from/to Bristol-Myers Squibb partners and Regulatory Health authorities such as the FDA and the EMEA.
•    Integral part of the analysis and design of a new web-based application intended to maintain and track Bristol-Myers Squibb pharmacovigilance reporting responsibilities. 

Quality Assurance Sr. Computer Validation Engineer III-ImClone Systems Inc., Somerville, NJ    2000-2007
•    Managed the implementation and validation of GMP/GCP enterprise information systems (Watson Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Trackwise applications, SkillPad Learning Management System (LMS)). Responsibilities included training of contractors and the review and approval of project validation documents.
•    Performed several software vendor audits focusing on compliance with 21 CFR 11, computer validation and IT infrastructure requirements.

Me acabo de quedar sin empleo y quisiera poder comenzar a trabajar inmediatamente.  Con tantos servicios en linea de busqueda de trabajo uno pensara que debe de ser bastante facil, pero cuan eficientes son estos servicios?  Que hacen con mi resume?  Vale la pena pasar horas llenando formas para poder solicitar un trabajo?

Servicios como Careerbuilder, Monster, HotJobs, theladders, tienen una cantidad inmensa de trabajos, pero que pasa luego de solicitar? Estos servicios fueran mas utiles si mantuvieran al solicitante informado del “status” de la aplicacion.  “Revisamos su resume y no tiene las cualificaciones”, “escogimos otro candidato”, etc…

Los “web sites” de las companias tambien tienen los mismos  problemas.  Puedo decir que son pocas (menos del 5%)  las companias que te envian un correo electronico informandote que han selecionado otra persona o que no va a ser evaludado por alguna razon.

En resumen, no creo que la busqueda de trabajo a traves de estos servicios sea mas eficiente que el “networking”.
Aqui viene LinkedIn, una red social de profesionales.  Esta es una herramienta increible que le permite ver donde estan sus conecciones, en que tipo de posicion, si la compania que a usted le interesa esta reclutando, acceso a personas que trabajan en Recursos Humanos.

Estar sin trabajo no es nada interesante.  Te hace pensar cosas que nunca pensaste, te hace meditar sobre decisiones del pasado, decisiones para el futuro y en esto la tecnologia no te puede ayudar…
